Lorraine Gray, MA, MFT

Non-Judgmental Counseling, Consultation, and Conversation

Let’s figure out what you need to move forward as an individual or in partnership. Over time we can get stuck in patterns that don’t serve us in our relationships with ourselves and others. I specialize in working with couples and 50+ individuals.

Sometimes we wish we could change how we move through the world emotionally because what we are doing isn’t entirely working or satisfying. My goal is to help you look at life, deepen your understanding of yourself and how you operate in relationship with people who are important to you. Sometimes just talking with someone new can make something clear in a way that hadn’t occurred to you and it turns out to be just what you needed to hear.

If appropriate I can also help you learn some simple and effective ways to manage, stress, anxiety, attentional issues, and sleep problems.

I am trained to listen, to reflect, and offer new perspectives in a safe and compassionate setting.  I am available for short-term, on-going, occasional, in-person and remote sessions by phone or through my HIPAA compliant patient portal.

Life holds challenges for all of us. I work in partnership with people who need help tackling issues, problems or changes. My clients and I discover ways for them to change their lives in positive ways. My non-judgmental, warm, and supportive approach to my clients has resulted in strong relationships with the people I work with. I appreciate people who have taken the road less traveled, or who approach life from a nontraditional perspective. I work hard to help my clients become who they want to be.

In my practice I pull from a variety of psychological and philosophical perspectives and approaches to meet the needs of each individual client.

I trained as a therapist in my forties after resisting the path for the longest time. I wasn’t certain but i knew it was time to jump.
